Meet the

Pastoral Staff

Rev. David Rittinger, Sr

Senior Pastor

Pastor Rittinger has served WBC since 1992. Prior to coming back to his home state, he pastored in New York for ten years. He holds a bachelors degree from Baptist Bible College, Pa., and his masters degree from the Moody Graduate School in Chicago.

Rev. Travis Dykes

Assistant Pastor for Youth and Music

Joining the ministry at WBC in May 2016, Pastor Dykes hails from Chesapeake, Virginia, and has a bachelors degree in Church Youth Ministries from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. His goal is to disciple students that know the Lord and help them grow closer in their walk with Him. He also desires to reach out to students that do not know Jesus Christ by meeting them where they are (John 4:7-10) with the ultimate goal of equipping them to reach more people for the cause of Christ (John 4:28-29), and encouraging them not to be mere spiritual spectators in youth group but to be functioning members of the church body as a whole.

5/23/2020 Please click for an important announcement from Pastor Dave

Attention all WBC folks:

Due to competing government dictates and short notice we will NOT be open to public worship this Sunday 5/24. We will still have our live stream service! We hope to be gathering in person soon! When we are able to have public worship services please be advised that the following guidelines will be necessary:

  • 1) If you have a temperature, are sick in any way, or have a pre-existing health issue, you are encouraged to remain home and follow the live stream on Face Book.
  • 2) If you feel that you can attend a public worship service, you will be asked to wear a mask, social distance in sitting (families can sit together), there will be no hymn books or Bibles in the pews (please bring your own Bible)
  • 3) There will be no offering plate passed, or bulletins distributed. If you desire to bring your offering rather than mail it in, there will be plates at the door.
  • 4) You will be asked to come right into the worship center and be seated where you can maintain 6 feet of distance.
  • 5) At dismissal, rows will exit at different times. It is best to chat outside the building and not in the foyer. Greeting and chatting is greatly encouraged to be done outside the building.
  • 6) No coffee or water will be available. Feel free to bring your own water bottle.
  • 7) There will be no nursery or child care available at this time. Feel free to continue to watch the live stream with young children in your home.
  • At this time all our Sunday School Ministries are not available in person. We hope to start an adapted men’s and women’s Bible study in the near future.

We are hoping that we will be able to announce public worship of our God and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ very soon! We will continue to provide the live stream this Sunday and going forward.

    In Christ, Pastor Dave
