Click here to register your child for Kids Night at WBC
Whiting Bible Church is excited to announce that we have relaunched the children’s ministry.
Starting September 2nd, we have a “Kids night” every Wednesday from 7-8pm.
The Kid’s Night program will take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything.
The Kid’s Night program is designed to help kids to:
- See the Big Story: Kids will understand that the Bible is not a collection of stories, but God’s unified story of redemption.
- Read Scripture as Christ-centered: Provides a deep, Christ-centered Bible study experience for all ages.
- Grasp Essential Christian Doctrines: Big Picture Questions and Answers are designed to help kids understand essential theological doctrines of the Christian faith.
- Study the Old and New Testaments: Kids spend equal time in the Old and New Testaments, learning the key distinctions of each and how they fit together.
There will be crafts, games, worship, and bible lessons.
Note to Parents:
Children are a blessing from the Lord. With these blessings also come responsibilities. As stewards of God’s children, parents are responsible for helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Churches have a responsibility toward children, too. We want to provide an environment in which children are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level, and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our weekly children’s classes are taught by experienced teachers. They understand the Bible well and love to communicate it to our children.
We have several measures in place to keep your kids safe. We are asking all students and leaders to wear masks and we will be keeping everyone at a safe distance.
The program starts at 7pm. Children must be accompanied into the building and signed in and must not leave the building until a parent has come to pick them up and sign them out at 8pm
Our first “Kid’s Night” will be September 2. Please register online. We look forward to seeing you!
